It is a semi-mountainous village with an altitude of 320 meters. To the north there is the Roupakia Forest and to the south the panoramic Ganades hill. At the top of this hill is a deep cave known as the "Arap's Hole". The Church of the Holy Spirit was built in 1800 and is decorated with a wood-carved iconostasis and Byzantine icons. Also opposite the school there is a stone hotel. The old stone houses, the narrow streets and the stone vaulted cisterns are characteristic.
